That's the truth of it. He's so poetic. His descriptions are so amazing and horrific. He takes something so disgusting and reveals it the world without disguising it so that people can't be like "oh, it's not soooo bad". He won't allow them to pretend everything's ok. That makes him great in my eyes. So, yes, he is beautiful.
